Christmas in London

It may not be the warmest Christmas that I've had; no excessive drinking buddies, no presents exchange, no karaoke sessions and most of all, without the company of those familar faces that I ought to spend my Christmas eve with *if I were back at home, but I've received one of the best Christmas presents ever this year :)

Been walking through the busy city of London lately and I'm literally borned to take the underground tube. It made me realised that I made the right pick to study at Newcastle instead of London.

And just to note something that I've learnt lately, age is not necessarily proportional to the experience of oneself.

Till then, I wish all of you a Merry Christmas :)

Betsy here, updating about the happenings in IMU so far. For now, all of us managed to make new friends, fit in to our uni life but definitely things are different compare to the days in pm1.

Studies wise, it's crazy here at IMU. The amount we learned so far in just 2 months is more than what we learned in 1.5 years of A Levels.

When comes to food, here is hell. After being so near to AC for 1.5 years, the food choices here is pathetic. Mamak every single day.

When comes to people, there are a few lame people. But most of them are the super studious type, totally not the style of pm1. And there's no togetherness feeling as no longer there is the classroom concept. It's just one big lecture hall with 200+ students.

And since there's no FTZ around here, Dhass, Esteban, Chow and Shirly became quite active in physical activity. Jog almost everyday (excluding me of course). By the way, they just completed a marathon today, "Mizuno Wave Run". It's a 10km course with the pathway going up and down, and all of them did it within 1 hour 30minutes or lesser. *applause*

However, Esteban and Dhass did revert back to their old footsteps and joined the Gamer's club. The club main activity is to go cyber cafe and DotA. Seriously = =

P/s: YanXia and Mavis, I beg two of you to quickly come to IMU. With both of your absence, I had officially became Dhassie's no. 1 target to insult!! :(

wah, been so busy cant find to blog, decided to do it today,

I am enjoying uni life though not same as being with PM1, i am still the same, lame as usual, but the call it her different, they call me sakai and these chinese ah, they call me ke leng gia.....swt, been cooking and serving a lot and getting hurt a lot especially, twisted leg, burnt hand..... Went to penang on a study trip for assignment, 1st semester almost coming to an end. Time flies so fast, and all on our on ways pursuing sumthing or the other.

The teaching here is really fun, but the class fools we did in class last time like take videos and evting, cant find ppl here to do that, 7 malaysian out of which 2 guys only, and NO MORE CYBER LIFE, MONTHS SINCE I ENTERED A CYBER CAFE OR EVEN PLAYED DOTA AT HOME....haiz

And not all of us are here, many overseas, but we must have a get together soon, mamak outing and FTZ PLS, (dota any new maps out??) and our class mentor Ms.LOURDS'S b'day is round the corner, NOV 1, so want to do anything??? surprise her in class or sumthing or do sumthing like what we did for april fool day, or find out where she stays and break into her house as NOV 1 is a sunday, as many of us shud be good in breaking in after watching PB.

So let me know if anything is going on, i can hopefully join u guys.

somehow i realized that pm1 seemed to be soo connected in everyway. may it be FTZ, movie at sunway pyramid, sports or lunch breaks at the market, AC or majeed.

No one in pm1 is selfish or proud. there was no competition in our class tho we were all good academically. kia-su syndrome NEVER appeared before.

we look out for each other. i can say that our class boys were very protective to all of us girls.

no one ever back stab each other.

no one was fake!

everyone was willing to lend each other their homework n notes to copy / refer. We were willing to stay back in school to teach one another math / physics / chem questions, share exam tips, be each other's alarm clock, motivator etc etc. (think back what we did for each other! i'm sure everybody played a role! )

i vividly remember all the out-station students including piau celebrating betsy's birthday at 2am in da morning. even tho we were far from home, we manage to make her birthday special for her.

EVERYONE attended mavis' birthday at A&W and shuang's birthday.

everyone was involved in making cards for mavis and distributing secret notes for shuang.

everyone attend me das n sengchye's birthday at da curve.

before exams, i saw study groups at mcD on saturday mornings. Before we entered MPH, we revised chemistry organic together.

after exams, we went to redang n melaka together.

im sure there are a million other incidents. all these things may seem small and insignificant. but it meant SO MUCH to me. literally, ALOT !!

i miss you PM1.

Construction Worker

Well, since Piau is urging us to update this blog. I shall begin with this story about a construction worker. =D

Construction worker on the 5th floor of a building needed a handsaw. So he spots another worker on the ground floor and yells down to him, but he can't hear him. So the worker on the 5th floor tries sign language.

He pointed to his eye meaning "I", pointed to his knee meaning "need", then moved his hand back and forth in a hand saw motion. The man on the ground floor nods his head, pulls down his pants, whips out his chop and starts masturbating.

The worker on 5th floor gets so pissed off he runs down to the ground floor and says, "What the f*** is your problem!!! I said I needed a hand saw!".

The other guy says, "I knew that! I was just trying to tell you - I'm coming!"

One thing that makes life so interesting is that the people around us often change. Be it in your kindergarten days or the days we had in college and now, the different universities that we are currently in. People come and people go. For a moment we may be the best buddies, but that may very well remain in the past. The future is something so unpredictable, but I guess thats what makes life so exciting huh ;)

PM1 Meets in Newcastle

This was supposed to come up on the blog a few days ago but owh well~ Procrastination won over Determination. As you all know, Lavnya and I were both currently studying in Newcastle University. So we had coffee at Costas and went on a supermarket speed date at Marks and Spencer. She was going around her vegetarian section while I was bothered and unsure about getting the salmon or the chicken. Just so you know, Salmon won and it was great simply pan fried, seasoned with a pinch of pepper and salt, of course, if you exclude the fishy smell that lingered on my shirt and apparently, my whole hostel for almost a day = - = Plus it was buy 2 for the 5 pounds... So it was 2 days smelling like fish.. Yeah, you get the feeling.. Or, maybe you don't.. but of course thats not the main point. Alright some pictures then ^^

HELLO PEEPS!

since esteban performed cpr on this blog, i got no choice but to give the rescue breathings.

SO, update about my life! I'm currently gonna do mechanical engineering in University Of Nottingham! now 2 years gonna be in malaysia campus! hopefully the next two years i can fly to uk and escape this country infested with salamy. hehe.

ok this uni right... it's located in Semenyih. never heard of it? it's beside this jalan called jalan broga. still never heard of it? well, it's near to kajang. heard of it? kajang satay? haha nxt time i tapao for you all if got meet. :p so my point is.... it's dem ulu. But the place i'm staying is dem nice! starting i didnt like the place bcause it's very dirty. but now, dem gay! haha 5 guys staying together sure la gay. hehe.

Hello my hommies how are u all doing???....well since i thk i have added everyone as contributers pls do update on what u all are doing...as of now i have joined hospitality in KDU majoring in Cullinary Management......Having fun, a new environment, new classmates(only 5 malaysians out 24 O.O) , a different lvl of lameness, but PM1 Lameness is still unbeatable(ask dhass and chee yuen, pawned them today also). Well from AUG 04 i will be starting working in a restaurent as a part of my class, in my college, thursday will be in the restaurant in service and friday in kitchen, all are welcomed when u want, its every thurday anf friday in KDU, restaurant name is connexions, u must pay ah not free. So kinda of getting used to it but still PM 1 is AWESOME, let meet up sumtime in KL and not trips as i cant make it :(,

We shall have a BBQ party on WEDNESDAY night starting at around 6 pm at TAYLORS. We have checked and no one else has booked the BBQ pit so we can use the one opposite THE WEB. Its quite big actually. The class fund has at the moment RM 71. We doubt that , that would not be enough. We shall buy the necessary stuff such as the chicken, the dogs, the mushrooms, and others stuff. Drinks also but all non-alcoholic (sry la many underage ). We shall give the total cost and if the extra the AH-LONG(betsy), with her goondas(mavis), from our class shall attack you to collect it from you. Please try to make as this is the last gathering IN TAYLORS for most of us. As Piau says " We shall end the way it started". Time has come where we go on our own ways but through this blog we shall keep in touch with each other :)

I have good and bad news.

The bad news is... since submitted the prom form rather late (a day before deadline), our table number is rather far in the back :( Total of 50 tables, ours around 40 something.

P/S: Those yet to pay, please pay me on Monday (after Mechanics)... my allowance can't last much longer :(

And the good news is, prom tickets officially only cost rm140. So, claim your RM10 from me :).

We have two tables now. Table 1 leader is Dhass, so, when the tickets are available next time, most probably they will contact him. Table 2 I'm the leader, so I'll distribute when I get my hands on the tickets to the girls and to three guys from PE class.

1. Almost everyone paid up for prom, so those that haven't do so, please settle before next Friday :) Three more people!

Need submit it by then. Currently, there's two tables. Manage to fill up all the seats by adding four guys from PE classes, friends' of Yan Xia's friend. So, currently, we have total of 21 people, excess of one. Pending with Ms. Mary Ng for permission to allow one table to have an extra seat.

EDIT: Prom tickets MIGHT only cost RM140 instead of RM150, so, I MIGHT return all of you that paid, RM10 the next time I see you guys! [See how it goes with Ms. Mary Ng]

2. Redang trip, twelve people paid up!
Remaining, please try to pay up soon.
I'll pass the money to Sheng Chao soon to settle the money for hotel rooms, bus and ferry tickets.
For the excess money (allocated already in the RM435 for activities), I'll be keeping it first.
Cause, at Redang, all the activities that we'll be going for only need to pay on-the-spot there. Will be easier if I keep for everyone, and pay as well for all activities at there. If not, will be a hassle to collect money from everyone each time for every activities.

3. Class fund of RM71 still pending. What to do with it?

Good news: I've received the class tees
Bad News: 2 of them we're considered faulty when I was doing the Quality Check.

Hence, I will only distribute the shirts when I've received the other 2 tees; most probably on Wednesday.

So each tee costs RM25 per piece and if we include the 4 pieces given to the teachers as souvenirs, then it will cost each of us an average of about RM30.

So pay up to Betsy people!

Class Tee Update

This copy is from the producer and its decided that the final layout is as shown above.

The shirt size is referenced as 18 inches for size S(reference to chest) and for every increase or decrease in 1 size will be plus minus 2 inches.

The cost that I've quoted from a friend of mine is around RM25, by far the cheapest that I can find out there.

I've confirmed the sizes and though not everyone will be purchasing it, I will be printing extras for the teachers as a souvenir. For those who agree, we will split the cost among us. Those who do not fancy the idea can pull out and I will cover the extra cost, anyway that makes you happy.

It should only take around a week or two for working days.

If possible is there anybody who can locate Kugan?

Results on Deciding the Tee Design

It seems that many people liked the latest barcode idea. With a total of 13 votes, the barcode will stay. As for the front, we are tied down between Design #3 and Design #6.

Franky speaking, I'd very mush prefer Design #6 as compared to #3. Because #3 itself uses a slanted wordings, its difficult for me to incorporate or add in new elements to fill up a "missing" part in the shirt.

Anyways, the choice is still up to the majority so I guess I'll let you guys choose between these 2 to finalize our decision.

Final Attempt on Class Tee =__=

So ladies and gentlemen,

Yours truly has finally made up his mind to NOT proceed on with anymore new designs and I will officially attach this "final" piece and then, we'll all figure out which one out of the six would be chosen to be made into our class tee.

I think its best that we vote the front and back of each design separately, hence, creating a larger variation to look for one with the best fit.

Since its the last piece, I might as well just explain a little on the design.
You see, for the past 12 months or so, I've squeezed out almost every single drop of my creative brain juice, looking for catchy quotes, fancy brush designs, matching colour schemes, but yet in the very end, I reached an end point with nothing more than the word "PM ONE" itself.

I think I've been missing out the whole fact that this tee itself, is a class tee all these while.

Without the need of flamboyant designs or attention seeking descriptions, "PM ONE" itself speaks a lot for itself.

You cannot just merely find words to represent the whole of "PM ONE". Its because every single one of us who are different, contributes a small portion to forming our class; just like a packet of Indian rojak with all the kuih and sotong and egg and cucumber slices served with a thick and delicious sauce of spice and nuts.

Probably better than the one near TBS.

The barcode simply reminds us of all the effort and time that we have spent together that makes us unique and worthy of being named "PM ONE". Although we may not be the closest ones that ever exists in our lives, I believe that we're all being our trueselves, entrusting our true nature to our fellow classmates :)

And so, with that, I will officially sleep now and most probably will be late for Bio practicals later.. =__=

OUR EXAMS ARE OVER PPL!!!!!!!! At last exam is over, all the sleepless nights, the no of past years present years . So much stress( i will not say strain ), now that are exams are over we shall have fun and take enough rest. I would like all of you to come to sunway, pls try to make it as it like a class outing and exam over party. It will be fun.
Our classes are starting again on monday which is going to be more stressful and pressure, more A2 from now on. Two more weeks of Hell before breaking out prison. So now that AS is over we will have less past year papers, unless like few ppl like adelynn who wanted to physics past year after the physics paper 1 bcoz she had few question and had nothing to do. So people let me tell u sumthing, THIS WEEKEND IN TIME RELAX AND HAVE FUN.
Anyway people please try to make it to the sunway trip. :)

The trip to Sunway has been confirmed, we shall be going this sunday the 23rd. We shall meet at Mac D at around 8 30 , have our break fast as food in sunway is reli costly for breakfast( I am serious), so eat at Mac D. It is your wish to eat at Mac D, or can go buy nasi lemak for just 1.30 or 1.60 or 2.00 depending on the place and come and eat at Mad D. Many ppl might prefer Nasi Lemak over Mac D as rice in the morning is gud. They always say eat break fast like a king, lunch like a solider and dinner like a joker.
Back to the tittle, those who are interested in going may let me, dhass , batsy or maybe urself know. Incase u say u dowan to come but want to surprise us u may do so, Just be punctual in surprising please, This trip is not just for the present Pm1 but also for the old students also. We have invited all our X-PM! hommies too. So try to make it, it is worth it, you will like it and i can bet on it.( that rhymes. :-D). All the best for our exams, just three more to go. Sunway Lagoon Class trip.

Who wants to go class trip to Sunway Lagoon on 23rd of November?

Sunway Lagoon:

Operating hours: 10.00 am to 6.00 am

There are 4 packages, made up of the various parks in Sunway Lagoon. Extreme park, Wildlife park, Scream park, Amusment park, and water park.

Single park = RM 36 (Bring ur IC/myKad if not + 15 ringgit)

Theme park (Water park + Amusement park) = RM 48 (With myKad, not my card, myKad dont read wrongly)

Theme park + any other park = RM 60

All parks = RM 72

According to Betsy, all the other parks are useless except for the theme park. So probably the second one is the best.

No glasses, watches, jewellery, Mavis, outside food and drink. (All cannot except Mavis la but i think Mavis cannot go on some of the rides cus height must be above 90 cm)

Water bottles must be empty. Can refill inside the park.

Dress code is T shirts and shorts without zips or buttons. Swimsuits and tights. No sari, or cheongsam or spagetti strap or nudity>>> (Seng Chye!!!) No tracksuit also.

So if you guys want to we can go on Sunday Nov 23rd. If not im going cc with Aabhi la k.

PS: If we are going must also plan breakfast cus food in Sunway Lagoon is wet and expensive.

1) Dota plays with 10 guys at once and never gets tired.The guy is always satisfied at the end.

2) She does not steal other girl's/womens boyfriends or husbands. Girls should make more effort to get guys attention.

3) She plays with them....as long as they can play.

4) She is not boobles. She is full of boobs. (eg. Crystal Maiden, Lina Inverse, Queen of Pain, Pudge)

5) She may suck our money kau kau but she satisfies us so much, but many ppl suck money kau kau and leave us.

6) She is able to make boys loyal forever and devote their life to her , bcoz she trusts us to defend her (Defence of the Ancient). And she continues playing with amateurs and average players as she trains them to be successful in life by giving them team spirit.

7) She is also able to make her 'lovers' back stab each other, this is a big advantage in life as it helps men be emotionally strong in real life when somebody really back stabs you, which happen to men alot.

8) The boys would rather spend time playing with ugly things because they have horns. Horny only nice ma.

9) She makes people run faster to her than they ever will to save you from drowning in the river. In that there is only 1 life involved but in Dota so many lives are at stake.( heroes and creeps), building( towers, barracks etc.) and a territory. *ignore respawn its like air resistance*

10) I got more reasons, when u start playing dota u would not concentrate on anything else even food, this will help you to lose weight. This is what Yuva said. Remember at the start of the year how fat he was.

Dota is assumed to be a girl in this post too. The heroes were cute in the begining but due to so much war they lost in all on the battle field. In the period of dota there are no plastic surgeons, so they can't get back their cuteness.

Our Tax System Explained: "Bar Stool Economics"
Suppose that every day, ten men go out for beer and the bill for all ten
comes to $100. If they paid their bill the way we pay our taxes, it would go
something like this:
The first four men (The poorest) would pay nothing.
The fifth would pay $1.
The sixth would pay $3.
The seventh would pay $7.
The eighth would pay $12.
The ninth would pay $18.
The tenth man (the richest) would pay $59.
So, that's what they decided to do.
The ten men drank in the bar every day and seemed quite happy with the
arrangement, until one day, the owner threw them a curve. "Since you are all
such good customers," he said, "I'm going to reduce the cost of your daily
beer by $20." Drinks for the ten now cost just $80.
The group still wanted to pay their bill the way we pay our taxes so the

I was talking to Mavis the other day when I asked her, “ Hey Mavis, how do you tell a girl that you love her?.” Mavis then replied, “ I dunno…uh….like you msg her….uh…but wait…what if she doesn’t love you….uh…just msg…I like you….that should work.” I quickly, no, SPONTANEOUSLY, realized this was horrible love advice, and wondered, how many other people, guys and girls, hetero or homo, got horrible love advice leading them to behave like the joker from that movie Dark Bite or something. That’s how I was inspired to begin this column in the Chingayz blog.

Dhassareth Manickam, against EMO.BLOG.POSTS. While many of my fellow contributors (Seng Chye) search for retarded videos such as Usavich, (Seng Chye = Not so retarded but quite la I mean wth usavich?) I have decided to address much more important issues. EMO. BLOG. POSTS. Does it make any sense to create an EMO.BLOG.POST? (EBG). Let us take Yuva, a young boy who has just created a blog. On his first blog post, Yuva stated, “This is my new blog. Today I’m sad and emo. Lemme listen to an emo song (50 cent’s Candy Shop) and put it as my blog background cus I have no hope whatsoever in my sex life. First question, Does he want the whole world to know that he has no hope in his sex life? Second question. Does he think the whole world cares about his sex life? Third question. Does he really have a sex life? Therefore it shows Yuva’s emo post was pointless and was just taking up space on the blogspot database. This creates more lag, which makes more people disconnect, which makes more people have to remake games in gg client and satisfy themselves by playing maple story.

Yo people, thanks to seng chye that we have this very wonderful cartoon which is very useful in all ways, he encountered this video when he was going to play DOTA in garena, There are many volumes but i am putting up vol 1- vol 5. You can find the others in youtube

So moral of the story is to find such wonderful videos go play DOTA or atleast go to garena.
